Laurie Kopec

Laurie spent her childhood camping and playing in nature and this is where her love of the outdoors began. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture, then working in that field, married and raised a family. In her 40's she came to realize art was what she loved and she wanted to become a painter.  Laurie was hooked and applied to local art shows and became a professional artist.  Since then, she works out of her studio where she sells her work and also give lessons, lead paint outs  and participate in paint outs all over America. Plein air painting is what she loves because she can paint outdoors and express the beauty that she sees.
