Tasha Strigle is a mixed media artist who produces two-dimensional and relief artworks. When creating artwork, she integrates a variety of textures and builds up layers of visual interest. She also loves experimenting with materials and finding interesting ways to create contrast. Her work derives from her personal experiences, beliefs, and curiosity about nature.
Tasha studied art in college with concentrations in photography and textiles. After college, she became an art teacher. In 2020 she started making and sharing her personal artworks in earnest to cope with the stress of the Covid 19 Pandemic. That year was a turning point for her to take artmaking more seriously and to make things that were not related to her job. As the community emerged back to public events, she started entering local art shows and attending more art events.
