Joanie Ford

I started oil painting as a teen. In my twenties I took years off to raise a family and pursue a photographic portrait career. After completing those endeavors, I returned to oil painting, later adding pastel and watercolor to my skill set.

I have been influenced mostly by the art of Monet and Sargent. Although as a true lifetime artist, I love much of the work I see by many of the great Masters.

I am at a place in my life when I can finally devote my life to my art. I believe that when you look at fine art, you are looking through a window into the artist’s personality and their perception of the world around them.
