Part of “Forgotten 441” series. The old Orange Lake Lookout building is one of my favorite sights along 441 to Gainesville, especially on a clear Spring day with the views of the lake. This has historically been a local landmark, once amidst orange groves, and was almost lost until Alachua County secured the funds to preserve it. This piece was done in oils on canvas.
